Photo Tips
The better quality of pictures you send us, the
better your showboard will print. We highly recommend
having a professional photographer take your pictures. But, if you
have a good digital camera and adhere to the following tips you can get
the same fantastic results. An eight mega pixel camera set to its
highest settings should work great. Get as much of the car in the
frame as possible. We can correct a lot of image problems but a well
composed picture is hard to beat.
Background and reflections:
Many things cause reflections that can be very
difficult to deal with. For the best results shoot on a cloudy day or just before sunset or
after sunrise. Sun glare is a picture killer. Do not take your pictures on grass or you will
see grass reflection in the paint and chrome for sure. Do not park under a tree.
Good Angles: Be creative. Use a ladder to get high
angle shots, lay down on the ground, stand at an angle. Take close-ups
of interesting or special features like emblems, grills, interior doo
dads, wheels and trim pieces.
Wash and prep your car: Shine it up, scrub the
tire side walls and thoroughly clean the windows.
Special effects: Try turning on your park lights
and/or headlights. This can have a dramatic effect in some pictures.
Using
hot models is another eye catching effect, but use a beautiful model
to show off your equally beautiful ride.
